Tigerplast by Jack Chia Industries (Thai) Public Company Limited, the leading manufacturer of medical supplies, medical devices, and cosmetics, successfully manages chronic wounds thanks to its innovative Tigerplast Innaqua bandage. Tigerplast is the result of joint research and development with the PTT Innovation Institute.
“Innaqua brought me a better quality of life so I can live happily again,” reflected one patient.
With a strong determination to deliver high-quality products to disadvantaged patients, the company organised the “100 Chronic Wounds for Thai People’s Quality of Life” campaign. Jack Chia Industries (Thai) donated Tigerplast Innaqua and Tigerplast wound dressing products worth more than 800,000 baht to 10 hospitals participating in the campaign, as follows:
- Vajira Hospital
- Thanyaburi Hospital
- Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital
- Nopparat Rajathanee Hospital
- Chonburi Hospital
- Nakhon Pathom Hospital
- Phetchabun Hospital
- Mukdahan Hospital
- Buriram Hospital
- Maharaj Nakhon SI Thammarat Hospital
Mr. Somsak, a patient who had an opportunity to use the product, further revealed, “Thank you for the good products and the good campaign that helps me live a better life.”
He was a patient of Nopparat Hospital, suffering a foot wound from an accident. His diabetes could cause wounds to heal slowly and lead to partial amputation. After his foot was amputated, he would not be able to work and raise his family for years. Furthermore, the wound dressing cost was very high. One day, the nurse recommended him to use Tigerplast Innaqua, which improved wound healing and saved medical expense.
Tigerplast and PTT Innovation Institute are determined to continue developing and delivering high-quality and affordable products made by Thai people for Thai people.
